My name is Dani Curtis, and I am a Registered Nurse, Public Health Nurse, Certified Fertility Health Coach, and International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). I have always shared a passion surrounding pregnancy and breastfeeding, and it exponentially grew through my own fertility journey and breastfeeding experience. I set out trying to conceive, and when I suffered two miscarriages, threw myself into research on how to increase my odds of getting pregnant, maintain a healthy pregnancy, and so on. When my first son was born, we struggled to correct his latch, and I suffered through immense physical and emotional pain. So again, I threw myself into research on how to pump excellently, develop a good milk supply, and even felt motivated to receive formal education that ultimately led me to become an IBCLC. I had to wade through so much information and techniques on my own, not to mention the mental and emotional burdens that came alongside, and I wish I would’ve had someone to talk with who could provide me with a 1:1 evaluation, education, and continued support. That’s why I created First Stop Fertility & Lactation. I do not intend to take the place of your doctor or medical team; instead, I want to come alongside you and bring you up to speed on all the techniques and information you may benefit from.
